Working for compassionate medical cannabis reform, the Tennessee way.

Help Make Compassionate Medical Cannabis Reform a Reality in Tennessee.

Hear the first-person account of Vanderbilt pediatric cardiologist Dr. Kimberly Vera on how her husband, who suffers from trigeminal neuralgia (TN), commonly nicknamed, "The Suicide Disease," used cannabis for relief from severe and chronic pain.

At Tennessee NORML we are working for compassionate medical cannabis reform, the Tennessee way.  What does the "Tennessee way" mean?  It means advocating for legislation that is patient-centered to help those who are suffering from one of the numerous conditions cannabis has been scientifically proven to help.

Along with our friends at Tennessee Research Institute and Tennesseans United, we are working hard to enact compassionate medical cannabis reform in our state.  We are the accredited state affiliate of NORML, the National Organization for the Reform of Marijuana Laws.

“The illegality of cannabis is outrageous, an impediment to full utilization of a plant which helps produce the serenity and insight, sensitivity and fellowship so desperately needed in this increasingly mad and dangerous world.”

Dr. Carl Sagan, Cornell University, 1969
