SAVE THC-A IN TENNESSEE

Dear Friends and Advocates of Cannabis Reform in Tennessee,

Urgent action is needed! On February 6th, a public hearing at the TN Department of Agriculture in the Porter Building Atrium at 10 AM will discuss crucial changes to hemp product testing rules. These proposed changes threaten to remove legal THC and THCA products from our state's market, potentially reversing our progress towards legalization.

We cannot afford to step back. Tennessee's hemp industry is a leader in the nation, and these changes would not only disrupt our industry but also force consumers and patients to seek THC products through unsafe, unregulated channels.

Your voice matters! Please click the link below to file a public comment with the Department of Agriculture. It's vital we respond overwhelmingly to maintain our hard-earned progress towards cannabis legalization.

Act now to protect Tennessee's hemp industry and the rights of its consumers and patients. Every comment counts!

I understand there are proposed changes to the regulations governing the sale of THC/THCA/CBD products in Tennessee. I ask/urge you NOT to enact these proposed changes as the benefits of these products derived from industrial hemp far outweigh any other concerns.

I have struggled with debilitating pain and issues associated with cancer among other issues. While prescription medicines have some palliative effects, having access to the alternative choice of THC/THCA/CBD products is a great benefit.

I incurred an incomplete spinal cord injury 12 years ago and have struggled with pain, spasticity and walking debilitation since. While prescription medicines have some palliative effects, having access to the alternative choice of THC/THCA/CBD products is a great benefit. I am sure that I am not alone among Tennesseans - especially those among the medically compromised community - who deeply value access to these products within the state of Tennessee.

Legal THCa products prevent me from having to use benzodiazepines, which are very damaging to the human body, in order to treat my frequent severe anxiety and depression symptoms. Please consider all the health benefits that come from industrial hemp products; they safely treat much more than only mental illnesses. Read the research, of which there is more every year, if you don’t believe my testimony. Please keep industrial hemp products legal for adult use in Tennessee! Thank you.

Please consider all of the benefits of the hemp industry in TN to the residents here. Personally, I suffer from Severe Rheumatoid Arthritis and after discovering the hemp including both CBD and THCA my life has changed.  I was always a hard working corporate woman until this disease took over my life. I sought every treatment I could find. Often times the medicine being prescribed was chemical poison for me. As well as unbelievably expensive. For 3 years I suffered without relief until I found the THCA/CBD  products. This calms my mind, and relaxes my joints allowing for better sleep and the ability to lead a more productive life.

I've been made aware of a proposed change to the hemp…
